I've enjoyed Lapostelle wines for a few years now.  I decided to feature a little about the winery's wines because I've been pleasantly surprised at the value their wines bring to us, the customer. Their quality/price ratio is great.  So, I bought the Syrah Cuvée Alexandre and their Casa Carmenère.  I talk about these two wines here.  The name of the winery is Lapostolle and they make their Casa Lapostolle wines in several varietals, Carmenère, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. Their Cuvée Alexandre is made in the varietals of Carmenère, Pinot Noir, Syrah (Las Kuras), Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blance, Chardonnay, and their Syrah (San José de Apalta, an organic wine which is what I feature in my video).  The Carmenère I talk about in my video is a blend of Carmenère, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Syrah. The Syrah Cuvee is 100% Syrah, (in my video I said it was a blend).  ;)  This winery is an example of a Chilean wine that sells quality affordable wines.  If you haven't tried this label, try it.  It won't disappoint.  For those of you who want higher end wine, their flagship wine is Lapostolle Clos Apalta, which is a Bordeaux blend with the main varietal being Carmenère. I'd love your feedback.  E-mail msellieswine@gmail.com
